About GelRed

GelRed from Biotium is a fluorogenic DNA staining dye similar to Ethidium Bromide for in-gel detection and quantitation of DNA. It has an excitation peak at 279 nm and an emission peak at 593 nm and can be visualized using a UV transillumination device.
